ABOUT FPA OF SC

The Financial Planning Association (FPA) is the membership association for nearly 30,000 Certified Financial Planner professionals, financial planners, specialist and organizations dedicated to enhancing and promoting the financial planning process. The South Carolina Chapter is one of 100 chapters nationwide that form the backbone of the FPA and attract the best in the financial planning community.

Our Chapter’s Mission is to “Advance the financial planning profession by providing education, interaction and leadership for the Financial Planning Community and the Public it serves, in accordance with the Certified Financial Planner Board’s Code of Professional Standards."

The FPA of South Carolina offers educational and professional enhancement programs and forums for all Financial Planning Professionals. Regional Lunch and Learns are held throughout the state several times a year.  The Annual Symposium is one day of educational seminars featuring nationally known speakers and presenters along with a vendor expo. The 2019 Symposium is scheduled for October 10-11 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
